The Four-Way Test is a nonpartisan and nonsectarian ethical guide for Rotarians to use for their personal and professional relationships. It has been used in Rotary since the 1940s.
How is the traditional four-way test used in the non-traditional Twin Cities Rotary EcoClub?
The four-way test can be used by Eco Rotarians to:
* Evaluate the information presented to us at our meetings from existing local and national eco-focused organizations.
* Refine the goals of the Twin Cities Rotary EcoClub.
* Discuss productively topics pertaining to conservation, habitat, ecology, and climate.
* Plan events, community engagement and collaboration.
The four-way test remains relevant no matter the topic or decade because it does not say what to think, say or do, but instead provides the questions that help evaluate thoughts, words and actions.
